Hi, I’m in the middle of a target, is there any harm in upgrading the driver mid acquisition, or should I wait until I have acquired enough data?
Sorry… the beta is a little misleading (because 3.1 wont formally be released until after QSIs release). The new QSI driver will likely not be available until next week. That said, it doesn’t matter when you do it.
To be clear, I mean that it doesn’t matter to the sequence. In your position, I would not upgrade drivers in the middle of a sequence because of the possibility that the images produced by the new driver are not 100% compatible with images from the old driver.
Will the Qsi new drivers include the 583 ?

I am not 100% sure, but I think QSI will stick with its “universal driver” model. QSI will have the official answer to this… I am inferring based on previous conversation.
