ADU for QHY8L CCD? Linkcam is not getting ADU result

Hi everyone,

I set the ADU value in SGP to Linkcam in equipment profile, and then I connected the QHY8L camera and I even took a short frame, a few seconds, and the value is still blank. Am I do it correctly? Or is this feature working?

No one is biting? It must be a pretty obscure topic

I’m not clear on the problem. I think ADU value is an average calculation of all pixel values in frame used for taking Flats. SGP seems to take this measurement and adjust the exposure until ADU is met. I don’t see SGP display the ADU other than calibrating the flat frame. I’m not sure what Linkcam is possibly another application?

Sorry I don’t know what that does mine is blank. I would recommend a longer cool/ warm time for the camera. I go for 15 or 20min. As I usually burn that up getting other stuff setup to go. It’s less of a shock and prolongs life. In the summer time you might want to increase your warm up to temp as well to near ambient temp.
