Can't get profile from PHD2 bugs again?

SGpro 3.0.2.94 and PHD2 v2.6.5dev3

Looks like can’t get profile bugs come back again. Can someone check with it and report back?

You must be joking …

Now for the profiles:

In SGP please go to the “Equipment Profile Manager”, select your default profile and then select the “Auto Guide” tab. Thenn go to “Settings”. Check all your entries there, especially the “PHD2 Install Path” and the “PHD2 Equipment Profiles” ( @Jared: shouldn’t that be called “PHD2 Equipment Profile” ?).

Then, after saving everything, just “Apply Profile to Sequence”.

If nothing works, you may want to upload the log file of that session.

Hi Tom,

Try ‘resetting’ (so to speak) the install directory of PhD to the same spot by just accessing it through the GUI and selecting ok.

I just had that error on a new build observatory pc. Doing that did the trick.

Sadly…done everything. Still doesn’t work. Previously works like champ.

  1. uninstall and reinstall PHD2. Not working.
  2. Reset SGpro. Not working.

This line is a little suspect. Seems that either a firewall issue or the PHD2 server isn’t running or SGP hasn’t been allowed access to that port (different type of firewall issue).

With netstat /an, manage to see 127.0.0.1:4400 in action.2018-08-17_171102

Tested with another imaging software, no problem at all when connect to PHD2. :frowning:

I already turn off my Windows 10 firewall. But still unable to retrieve profiles from PHD2.

I had the same problem yesterday evening setting up phd2 (v2.6.6) with SGP. Any solution found for this issue?
