Connect to Nikon DSLR wirelessly instead of USB?

Hi all,

not sure if anybody tried this, or if it’s even advisable to do this due to battery drain issues, but can SGP connect to a Nikon DSLR (D610 in my case) wirelessly? The scenario I’m toying with is the PC running SGP connects to the wireless access point built into the DSLR, therefore is on the same network subnet as the DSLR.

Anu,
This is not currently possible with SGP. I’m not sure if we’ll implement it or not. At the moment I’m thinking we likely will not.

Well it could be possible that you can connect your camera with normal wifi by various methods but i have not much clear idea about SGP, thus i recommend you to check Nikon D610 Manual for it. Or you can also try this:
To connect the camera click on the connection icon . Once connected the icon will change , click this icon to disconnect.
