Hi there. I got a message to install the newest version (March 3) and its suppose to resolve the irritating menu pop up that I need a plate solver. I installed the latest release and still having the same issue about it saying i need to plate solve. any suggestioons how to get around this?
That specific issue was fixed in 2.6.0.17. If you are still receiving the message, either:
- You have selected something in your sequence that requires the use of a plate solver
- It is a bug (not related to the issue fixed)
We cannot tell, in this case, without the SGF sequence file that reproduces the issue you see.
Hi Ken. The new install I did was 2.6.0.17 which is why I was surprised to
get the same issue. Where do I find a SGF sequence file. Is that a log of
some type?
I a going to do an unistall of all SGP and then reinstall as well.
Right, receiving the same message is not an indication of the same issue. There are several reasons you can see it.
When you save a sequence, it is saved as an SGF file. We just need to take a peek at the sequence.
