SGP needs support for DIY serial cables, the DSUSB adapter is way too expensive for what it actually is, it can be made for under 10 dollars and it would be much smaller. The support exists in MaximDL and they even provide instruction on how to make the cable, if there is a problem with adding the extra support you should at least provide the calls issued by SGP to the DSUSB.dll so one could make a custom dll and replace the one in the program folder.
