I am taking images with a DSLR. Since I have a motorized focuser I changed the setting in SGP from saving CR2 format to FITS format, so valuable data like “FOCPOS” and “FOCTEMP” are available in the FITS header. Now I have a wish for a future version of SGP:
For uncooled DSLRs, please set the ‘Camera Temperature’ (which is an EXIF tag in the raw file) as FITS keyword “CCD-TEMP”. This would make my life easier (e. g. choosing MasterDark with matching temperature for calibration).
