I just purchased and installed SGP, and have been doing my best to go through the step by step OSC simulation/tutorial that is on the Main Sequence website. For what it’s worth, I have downloaded the newest versions of all the required software. After connecting to the V2 Simulator camera, and attempting to take a single 3 second exposure in the Frame and Focus module, I am getting an error message “Error capturing frame and focus”. Why in the world would I get this while running the simulator?
Not sure, we’d need logs to check it out. It could be that the simulator is mis-configured or there is an issue with your ASCOM installation.
