Feature Request define FlatField position

Hello!

I want suggest to enable User to set a fixed position (or the parking position) to make Flats automatically against a wall mounted FlatBox. (like Flat-Man-L)

You can do this currently by doing the following:

  • Set your telescope park position (via ASCOM) to be pointed at your flat box
  • In your sequence setup a pre-event on your flats event to park your telescope

What we don’t currently support is having a alt-az position that SGP will slew to and disable tracking separate from a park position.

can I command SGP for the roof to be closed while I flat with this sequence?

It is possible, but how to do it will vary based on the realtive location of flats frames to light frames. In other words, are you taking them during the same night? Before, after lights? With no lights at all, only flats, etc?

I would like the telescope to return to parlk position at the end of the light session, close the roof of the observatory and start the flat session (I have a USB flatbox managed by SGP). I wish he would do this every night I take pictures.
