This has happened on more than one occasion.
My QSI 583 WSG will hang during a flats session and I have to disconnect and restart SGP.
The exposure times were set by the flats wizard for each profile.
All in all it is a great feature, but it seems to hang the camera every so often.
This is the only time the camera hangs up when using SGP , all other operations very successful.
Logfile link for your perusal. Errors, of course, are at the end.
I cant be certain as I have never seen this error before (and I own and use a QSI too).
[7/25/2015 3:25:28 PM] [DEBUG] [Camera Thread] ASCOM (QSI) Camera capture. : The server threw an exception. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010105 (RPC_E_SERVERFAULT))
at QSICameraLib.CCDCameraClass.get_ImageArray()
at b8.CaptureImage(Image image, SgMessage& abort)
This means that the QSI COM server (driver) failed… nothing really to do with SGPro. I would start by:
Uninstalling and re-installing the QSI drivers (ensure you install as admin)
Checking your camera’s firmware is up to date
Checking the camera’s power supply voltage is sufficient and constant
Checking in with QSI to see if they have ideas on what could cause the camera to issue that error (during a request to get data).
