"Flip When"

Hello,

The manual on page 64/209 instructs to set the “Flip When” value in SGP, I am not sure where to find that input field under CP>Telescope…

Are there plans to update the manual anytime soon?

The manual is up to date. You’re under the heading of “Using EQMOD with SGPro” and those are EQMOD specific settings. Also I would not recommend the PDF version for general usage as it is difficult to navigate and hard to keep context unless you’re reading it like a book. Generally the online version or the help that ships with SGP is best. The PDF is generally designed for printing:

Jared, the reason I was asking is because the graphics associated with SGP
seem to be older.

I am actually converting the pdf into MS Word for studying purposes. Are
you saying that the online help might be more up-to-date?

When we update we don’t always take new screen shots. The graphics that
we’re on the page you referred to we’re of the EQMOD driver and we likely
won’t update those as it’s more of a supliment than out actual manual. The
PDF should be up to date but it would not surprise me if we have forgotten
to update it recently.

The version with SGP will always be the most up to date.

Okay, good to know that if the graphics related to SGP itself are outdated

Any idea where in SGP I can find the
"Flip When" field?

This field does not exist in SGP. If you’re looking for the values that control the meridian flip you can find them under the telescope tab of the control panel next to the option to enable the meridian flip.
