Would it be possible to implement the possibility to have a negative value for the focus position. when starting SGP my focus position is not read out so it always start at 0. By being able to focus to a negative value I would be able to reach focus again after an involuntary restart of SGP (for a remote setup).

Rob,
I don’t believe this is possible as ASCOM only supports positive integers and 0 for focus position.

I’m guessing your focuser doesn’t save it’s current position or on connect it sets it to 0?
