Getting strips from my camera

I’m new to astrophotography and SGP. Just today got my qhy168c. Tried to run a frame and focus with it but started getting horizontal bands and no image.

What could be the problem?
All help is most welcome.

That is quite odd. I would try QHY’s program and see if it has similar issues. Generally things like this tend to be cable or power related from my experience.

Thanks Jarad. It was actually related to the USB cable. The situation got resolved after I changed the USB cable.

Everything is working fine now.
