Heart- and Soul nebulae

The heart- and soul nebulae, IC1805 and IC1848. Located about 7500 lightyears from Earth and consisting mainly of Hydrogen gas. The soul nebula is a very interesting region actually as it’s a region of intens radio-waves. These are probably caused by squishing together hydrogen gas at a higher rate than normal.

This entire image comprises 9.2 hours of data. It was my first ever mosaic using SGP and it worked like a charm. I advice to have a look at my Astrobin page > The Heart and Soul nebula ( Vincent Groenewold ) - AstroBin you can try to click on the full resolution, but my browser at least struggles with that. The mosaic was created using AstroPixel Processor.
