If you’d like to create a voting poll, it’s pretty simple:
- Create a new topic and select the proper category
- The title of the new topic must start with the exact text "poll: "
- The forum will recognize this and make voting options from list items in the body of the text
- Type out the purpose of the poll at the top of your message and then, when you want to provide voting options, choose the “bulleted list” icon.
- Each item will be a thing you can vote on.
- Keep in mind the preview area on the right does not currently show them as voting items… right now they will just look like regular bullets.
- Users will be able to vote and see the poll results in real time.
Anyone can use this… not just admins. Have fun!
