A wide field view of the centre of Cygnus, with Sadr (Gamma Cygni) near the centre.
IC1318, the Butterfly Nebula, is to the east (left) of the frame. NGC6888, the Crescent Nebula is found at the very bottom right, and nearby is the faint planetary nebula PN G75.5+1.7, more commonly known as the Soap Bubble nebula.
Image was taken from W Oxfordshire, UK using a QHY163M (gain 200, offset 85) with a Baader 7nm HA filter, through a Canon 200mm f2.8L II (working at f3.85). Mounted on a Losmandy GM8 with Gemini 1.
Total exposure 3h40m (5 min sub exposures - also used HDR Combination with 25x30sec to cope with Sadr and bright saturated stars). Processing in Pixinsight.
