I'm back! 2 Spring Galaxy Images

Well, I’m back. I’ve been out of the loop for a while due to travel and other commitments but I’m hoping to be more active here again. Part of my travels included a 6 week RV trip to the western USA and of course I visited some of the darkest skies in the country over 2 new moon periods. I have lots of data to go through and I’m anxious to get it processed. Dark sky data is SOOOOOO much cleaner than my normal light polluted data.

But first I had to catch up on some crappy data I took from home  These two galaxy images were taken with my dual scope/camera setup and of course SGP.

Welcome back!
I am sooooo Jealous. I hope one day to do the same and visit those dark skies.

I’m afraid visiting those dark skies has ruined me for my normal home skies. The darkest sky I had was SQM 21.89 near Natural Bridges National Monument. Amazing.
