Can you post the list you were attempting to import from Starry Night as well as the observing list from Telescopius?

Thank you,
Jared

Hi Jared,
sorry i forgot the “Starry Night”-Topic.
But as long i’m not able to export anything from SN8PRO i can not post a list or something like that

thank you
Dietmar

That list imported just fine here. Can you attempt the import and post a log?

Thanks,
Jared

Hi Jared,

Are you trying the URL?
After a restart of SGP the imports runs with the URL, but the result looks quite strange (RA/DEC-Values)

Thanks
Dietmar

Do not want to begin a new topic, but I had a similar issue importing from Telescopius.

Regards, Fernando

That list imports fine for me. Can you please be more specific with the error description?

see above!!

Ok, please import the list, then save the sequence. Then you can email the sequence file to support@mainsequencesoftware.com . Please let me know that you did so here in this thread.

Hello Didi, was the error fixed when importing data from Telescopius to SGP? I have just discovered the same bug. I have the last update level in WIN10 and the last version of SGP 3.2.0.611.

Kind regards, Walter

I have reported this bug as well, a long time ago.
The list imports fine, but target location values are just rubbish. I have manually updated them in SGP from Telescopius.

Helge

Thanks for your answer - OK, then I will also correct the RA + Dec manually.

Kind regards, Walter

This error is caused by the regional settings on the PC (when you use decimal comma instead decimal period). I had the same problem. If you change PC settings from comma to period before the import it looks fine. Afterwards you can change back and continue to tune the sequence in SGP.

Hakan

Hi Hakan,

Thanks for your sent record. I converted the decimal coma to a decimal dot and then I loaded SGP new. With these settings the import run well and the RA/Dec-values were correct.
Once more, thank you for your hint. Do you think SGP will correct this bug?

Kind regards,
Walter
