Manual Meridian Flip

Hi, I am relatively new to SGPro but have managed to do automated Meridian Flips without issue except for the timing of them.

I often shoot 20min NB exposures and I’m finding the auto-flip always seems to be due 15 minutes away and I have to wait that long for it to happen.

I have looked for the manual flip button but cant find it, I know it’s a noob question but can anyone point me in the right direction - how do I either do the flip immediately or delay it until the next exposure completes?

Thanks

Jon

Try Control Panel, Telescope, Telescope Options, Use Meridian Flip , Set.

hope that helps

Thanks Dennis I will try tonight

I have found an Auto Meridian Flip tick box that has options of SET or RUN.

I’m using the Simulator.net Telescope, which may account for it, but the RUN button is greyed out.

Is the RUN button what I need, also any idea why it’s greyed out?

Thanks
Jon

Many scopes can not flip until they are past the meridian. That is, the only way for SGP to flip them is to wait until past the meridian and then issue a slew command.

Ok thanks, perhaps mine is one if these.
