Dear Ken & Jared,

I know that you don’t want to commit to any release schedule and quite right too, but please can you give me some ideas of what you are currently working on for the next release of SGP? I am particularly interested in what I can expect in the next Beta release. I would love to know when it is likely to be released, but fully understand that you are unlikely to be able to confidently answer that question!

  • Tweaks/Adjustments to current beta features
  • SkyGuard integration
  • Refactoring saved file structure (hopefully to prevent corrupt files)
  • Coordinated Dither
  • Performance improvements around sequence loading (may be a little bit before it sees the light of day)
  • PrimaLuce Eagle and other switch device integration (also may be a bit)

I’m very much looking forward to the next Beta release that contains the ‘restart’ bug fixes.

I don’t know SkyGuard - I’ve just looked at their website and see that it is to do with guiding and focus. What I don’t like about it is that it costs more money! Will I need it? I have PHD2 and your focussing already. All I will add is that any improvement to SGP’s focussing will be most welcome!
