My first night trying and not very successful. All gear connected and scope slewed to desired image but screen was just black. I tried M1 and M42. I just tried a 30s single event. M42 should be so huge on my C11" @ f/10 that only a few stars should be seen but it is big enough as to not miss the FOV. This was also just a black screen. I then kept the scope in its position and switched to Starlight Live and I saw stars within M42. So I was in the FOV. I obviously have some settings wrong in SGP. Suggestions please??
Likely you don’t have the image stretched. Try “Auto Stretch” on the Image Histogram
Thank you- I cannot remember if I checked that box so will make sure next night out and see how it goes
