Opening Sequence Generator Pro

Sequence Generator Pro is loaded on my desktop and laptop and initially the software would open on both machines. Now, however, it only opens on the desktop. When attempting to open SGP on the laptop, the normal opening process will continue until it gets to the step “Initializing Logs - Retail License” then stops. I have uninstalled and reinstalled SGP and the latest version of the ASCOM Platform and deleted and reassigned the license to the laptop, all to no avail.

Please help.

There seems to be some underlying change in recent versions of Windows that causes settings files to become corrupted… We will be removing that system shortly and replacing it with something less volatile. In the meantime:
