Several nights ago, suddenly, my local plate solve started acting erratic. The main problem is it fails for step 3, validation. I think it takes the picture, but then fails immediately, without trying to solve it. If I reboot, some sequences seems to work. And at other times, it slews to where it thinks the target is, but just waits, each step says “waiting.” I checked my plate solve settings, which seem OK. I use local Astrometry.net always. Has worked great for months. Seems to have started after I created a new sequence in the framing and mosaic tool.

Sorry you are having issues. There is a good chance that the issues you are seeing can actually be resolved, BUT we are not able to assist at the moment:
- The Microsoft Vista operating system is no longer supported by SGPro
- The version of SGPro you are using is out of date and no longer supported. Hopefully upgrading to 2.6.0.23 will fix the issues you are seeing.
