Problems with focus control

I have a Moonlite focuser and, while the program reads the focuser position, it will not let me move it using fine or coarse controls or a “go to” control. I can use the device manual buttons to move it but only if SGP is turned off. When SGP is on and “seeing” the focuser, the device manual control will not work.

My camera (SBIG STF 8300M and it’s filter wheel is connected as is PHD guiding.

Any help would be appreciated.
