HI guys,
I am using SGP - not latest release, just one back from that. A while back I set up my C11 SCT with a backlash compensation of 800 steps ‘in’. The v shaped focus curved I obtained that night seemed to be consistent, albeit on the same area of sky. I got a lot of help from this forum with that.
However, and unfortunately, that nice situation has not persisted with focus now being determined as best fit, there is no curve to speak of, Last night it was clear here, so I captured some NGC2683, Although things went well to start, at some point the autofocus started to get progressively worse until the stars got to big donuts with central holes and I lost 8 15 min subs. I have autofocus set to run every 30 minutes.
Is there anything further I can do to improve the situation? appreciate any help.
