Guys, I have two problems and possibly related.
1- Without the guide camera connected up (see problem 2 below) with only the QHY163C connected, as soon as I connect to SGP, it says it is starting cooling, and you can hear the fan running on the camera, but the temperature actually CLIMBS instead of cooling. Like literally several degrees over a few minutes but the fan is blowing away.
2- I downloaded QHY’s 3in1 software. SGP sees the camera along with the QHY5L-II guide camera just as PHD2 sees. When I load the “Capture” in SGP and choose the 163, it finds it, then on sequence start, reverts back to the 5L-II. All the while, PHD2 has the 5L under “Guide” and you do not see the 163.
Ideas?
Turn off the cool down functionality if you’re using it. Or set the cool down time to 0.
Maybe something with the ASCOM driver? SGP talks to QHY cameras directly through ASCOM, so this would likely be something that the driver maintainer (QHY) would need to address.
