Request for Recovery if Mount ASCOM Disconnects


This is a request to have SGP automatically attempt to reconnect to a Mount ASCOM driver. Because of infrequent to frequent I/O conflicts or processor load issues between Celestron’s CPWI mount controller and SGP, CPWI will time out and the Mount will become disconnected from CPWI. SGP will issue an error alert. I manually reconnect the mount in SGP, but then I have to reconnect the Mount equipment in SGP.

I have not found a way for SGP to recover. Would it be possible for SGP to poll the Mount ASCOM interface (or other equipment, such as the camera, focuser, etc.) and attempt to reconnect if found?
