Request to add default binning mode to Equipment Profile

Sometimes I forget to set binning mode to 2x2 in a sequence.
For that particular camera and telescope combination, I will always be at 2x2 binning.
If in the camera tab you could provide a default binning mode selection a perfect application would then be even perfecter.

What we typically recommend for event level defaults is to create and save a sequence with your parameters set and then open and populate target data with that sequence. Not exactly a great fit for what you’re seeking…but it would generally work if you always use the same number of events. I’ll have to contemplate what that could look like.

Actually your suggestion of creating a template like sequence is not a bad idea.

I think that I will try that.
