SafeParse Double - What is going on? What does this mean in the Log?

Of course most people here get reliable plate solves every time, that’s
not what shocked me. It’s the 2 pixels part that shocks me. Your
mileage may vary and you certainly have a better mount than I do, but 2
pixel accuracy in my system is way overkill. With a six inch refractor
and an image scale of 1.01 arcs/pixel I have mine set to settle at less
than 40 pixels with 10 attempts before failure. It usually takes two
solves and gets to within about 8-10 pixel accuracy on the second
solve. I could probably get to within 2-5 pixels, but I just think it’s
unnecessary since, for example, dithering will move the target by a few
pixels anyhow. Of course, if I had a high end mount I would expect much
more from it as I gather you do.

In any event, I sincerely hope things get worked out for you and you
stick with SGP. There’s a steep learning curve but SGP as completely
transformed my imaging habits…i.e. getting more sleep! Sorry I
can’t be more help with your problem.

I’ve done as you requested Ken with the Image history disabled and the issue persists - Please see the thread here SGP and PHD issues - Nothing is going right any more - Sequence Generator - Main Sequence Software
