SBIG ST4000 dual chip compatibility

I am trying to connect my SBIG ST4000 and use PHD 2 with the internal guide chip. I can connect the camera or the guide chip, but not both. I’d been under the impression that you’d implemented a “side door” that would allow me to use both. Please advise.

And be sure to enable the guide chip in the camera setup as well as select the correct settings in PhD2
