Setting up G11

Newbie here. I am just starting with SGP and am trying to get my gear set up. It looks as if the camera (ASI1600 w/EFW) and guider (OAG ASI120) setup ought to be straightforward but I’m confused about setting up my G11/Gemini 2. Other threads on the forum say it “just works” While I’m sure that’s true, I’m afraid I need a bit more guidance.

  1. How do I cable to the Gemini 2? Ethernet?
  2. What Telescope choice do I make in Equipment Profile Manager? What settings do I use?
  3. Can I still use Sky Safari? If so does it run iPad to PC to PC to G11? Presently I run iPad to SkyFi to G11.
