SGP and eqmod meridian limit

I have my EQMOD meridian limit set.

When SGP is running its sequence and the mount reaches the limit, I get a dialog box on SGP stating that “mount has stopped tracking - do you want to abort sequence?”

Since I am not looking at the computer screen when capturing a long sequence, I would like SGP to abort the sequence. Is it possible? It can start a timed dialog like it does in many other places.

Also I find that since SGP has not aborted the sequence, it does not stop PHD. PHD keeps sending bigger and bigger corrections to the mount which has reached the meridian limit. Will that harm the mount in any way?
