I recently upgraded to SkySafari 5 Pro from SkySafari 3. Now, WiFiScope rarely works. SkySafari 5 disconnects frequently. The update rate on SkySafari is extremely slow and an error on SkySafari states,
“Connection Failure
Skysafari Pro can make a wireless network connection to the scope, but the scope is not responding. Make sure it is connected and powered on. Also check that your scope type is correct”
I have entered the correct parameters for SkySafari. I am using port 4030 and the Meade LX-200 Classic.
Has anyone else had a problem. Note: WiFiScope worked quite well with SkySafari 3 Pro.
