Last night’s session was a plate solving failure. SGP interface appeared to be perpetually solving and I aborted the solves, and aborted SGP to stop it from perpetual solve. In reading the log files it appears sometimes solve may have been succeeded internally but a sync failure may have lead to SGP appearing to solve perpetually. In some cases it seems an apm file is meeing from the temp folder.
I am not sure what is going on, but for your information, I had taken the mount apart and corrected Dec backlash issue which means I had taken the Dec gearing out of the mount and put it back. I don’t know if that could be a contributor to the syncing issue.
