It comes up from time to time where a user gets asked to provide log files and they have already been deleted becasuse they are only kept for 7 days, i suggest an option gets added where the user could choose how long log files are kept and also to set the default to 30 days
Why not just set it to 30 days?

30 days would be much better than 7 days, but myself i’d like to keep logfiles even longer which is why i’d like it to be a user choosable value
Why not have the option to set an ‘archive’ folder, after a ‘user selected’ period of time SGP could transfer any which are identified as older than the user selection and transfer them into the archive.

Seems like maybe too many options for log management. Let’s just try 30 days first. Selfishly, it was at 7 because I generate about 42,000 logs a week. Our dev machines will still cull logs after 7 days, but the release versions (and betas) will keep logs for 30 days. This also applies to auto focus logs
