I’ve just received my new ASI071 and tested it with the bundled capture software. Whilst it seems to work well enough it’s not a patch on SGP and lacks integration with things like PHD. I’m just wondering if support for this camera is planned in the future, bearing in mind it requires additional controls such as again and sensor window heating.

Your camera would be supported in SGP via its ASCOM interface. You would need to install the main ASCOM platform and then the ZWO specific ASCOM drivers for the camera and and filter wheel.

Thank you Charlie, much appreciated. I thought I’d installed the ASCOM drivers but it turns out I’ve only installed the standard ones so wondered why the camera wasn’t appearing in SGP. I’ll try that later today.
