Sync Celestron Advanced GT mount?

My Celestron Advanced GT mount connects to SGP. Will SGP sync the mount with a plate solve?

Hi Peter,

Yes SPG can sync the Advanced GT Mount. I use this mount as my goto field mount. You’ss need to use the Celestron ASCOM driver. I typically do a “Quick” align, use the Polemaster to get me polar aligned, move the mount to some location in the sky away from the pole and do a plate solve and sync. Doing it this way I don’t have to use the ASPA.

Thanks. Same situation for me…I use it in the field (I have a permanent AP). For whatever reason I could not get a platesolve last night, but I think polar alignment was off. I just have the polar scope with an illuminator.
