SYNC with GEM

Hi

Advice needed please :slight_smile:

I am Fairley new to GEM mounts and I need to understand what the correct procedure is when syncing the mount

After plate solving I sometimes get the " poss bad plate solve box " which suggests The mount is looking the wrong way

Now this is the confusing bit to me , I get if the mount is on the east or west side ok , but Looking ?

The mount can be on the east side , but my scope is looking west !!!

so can someone tell me the correct way please
