Temperature compensate tolerance

While playing with temperature compensate (and recommending “Autofocus with feedback” in this section) I noticed a correction is made for even a difference of a few tenths of a degree. When shooting hundreds of 1-minute or less subs, this adds substantial overhead and extra wear on the focuser and scope, especially when backlash is used. Could we add a min delta for change (e.g., > 1 degree), and/or a min time (> 1 hour) to minimize the number of temperature compensation corrections?

I have same problem and think your suggestion is good
