I started a sequence this morning using Pinpoint to resolve/center. The target was NGC 281 and the time was 4:31 AM. Using The SkyX to determine the transit time, it told me was at 4:29 AM. I manually slewed the scope to the east side of the mount, started the sequence with a “Center / plate solve” and it started slewing the scope to the WEST side of the mount.
Well, I stopped the slew, re-centered manually, and started imaging.
Question is - where does SGPro get it’s “transit times”? Should I have waited a few more minutes to tell it to center?
Thanks
Jan
