The SX Filter Wheel times out when connecting. It will usually connect on the second attempt. It does work with the stand alone SX application and does work with The SkyX.
Please see here and we’ll see what we can find. In addition to this, we would need to see the SX CFW ASCOM logs.
The sx filter wheel requires the usb lead to be unplugged and re-plugged to initialize it.

I have the same issue with my SX USB filter wheel. I have to unplug and replug it in order for the unit to be recognized. This seems more like a driver issue. I’ve never had an issue with using it in SGP.

It’s not a driver issue. It was designed to work this way.
Which means to run it remotely you need a USB switch.
