Two ultra wide field images

Over the last year, I worked on an imaging train using a Pentax 55mm lens - quite the challange!

Here are the first two images:

Double Cluster, Heart & Soul Nebula

North America Nebula

One challenge remains: auto focusing. Quite often, the autofocus routine fails. Because of the short focal length, the critical focus zone is very short. I.e. when the focuser is too much off the focus position, SGPro doesn’t recognize the stars. Anybody else using such a short focal length? What are your settings?

Nice images - thanks for sharing.

What are you using for your focuser?
