I’m assuming you haven’t tried the Framing and Mosaic Wizard?

It is an add on but you can start a 45 day trial from within SGP.

I run into an occasional snag with the framing and mosaic wizard. Sometimes the image is not displayed for me to frame it out. The dialog says it is displayed, the thumbnail window I forget what it is called shows it, but it is not actually visible. I have to completely close SGP and re-open it a few times before it finally shows up when I click the button. Other times it works perfectly. Very difficult to reproduce. The second thing is that I have had it not find the target sometimes based on a common name. Maybe this is normal though.

For what it is worth, I got SN7Plus to export an observing list and imported it successfully so I have that going for me which is nice.
