One or twice I have had an issue that “the guys” have addressed in a Beta release, and I have jumped on that to test it out.
Otherwise, though, I am usually a “stick with the formal release” user because I don’t get out as often as I would like, and I try to maximize the odds of success when I do make it out.
Currently, though, the most recent release, 22.214.171.124, has an issue with meridian flips (at least as I understand it) that was resolved in the next beta, 126.96.36.199. I use meridian flips pretty much every time I go out.
So where does that leave me and my conservative preference? The last release version doesn’t seem like the right choice because of the flip issue. Since I am going to need to select a Beta anyhow, should I just go ahead and jump to the most recent beta (which has been out for several weeks and seems for the most part to be working for folks).
I could stay where I am, but I am pretty far down level at 188.8.131.52.
I am just curious about other’s approach when they want to stay up to date, but also prefer to minimize the odds of troubleshooting under the stars?
Keep up the great work K&J!
