Why does the control panel disappear?

I always have the control panel open to see what’s happening (which filter, focus point etc.)
But during for example focusing or “center on” when sequence starts, the control panel disappear.
I think it’s because all of these events are automated and no user intervention should be possible but I would like to see what’s happening. If access to the control panel is not possible would it be possible to put this information (at least filter and focus point) in the bottom bar?

Yes, you’re correct that they’re being hidden because no interaction is allowed.

If you open the modules they’ll continue to reflect current data. So you could open the filter and focus module to get the info you’re after.
