I had to ‘rebuild’ a laptop recently and had to install everything from scratch.
I got ansvr installed and the relevant librarys and while Blind solve does work it is taking like 5 minutes.
Plate solve 2 resolves the image in seconds.
Pretty sure I have the image scale and other camera settings correct. Just thought maybe I had overlooked something.
By the way the image was binned at 2x2, I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.
Do you have the image scale set for 2x2 binning?
No it is set for 1x1 binning. As I understand it you set the 1x1 image scale and SGP does the math for other scales.
Yes the binning info was in the .fits header.
Could you upload the fits image that you were trying to solve that was having the problem so we can take a look?
Cant upload a .fit file.
I ‘could’ upload a .jpg but of course the header info would be gone.
