We have not changed the behavior when imaging under the pole with respect to meridian flips.

I have just hit this exact same issue. If I image anything that travels below the pole I need to perform a meridian flip manually.
Is there a plan to fix this in an upcoming release?
We have this on our list, but the list is so full of features and fixes that we cant commit to any time frame here… I understand the frustration, but this particular issue has less priority than others.
