What exactly does the Sync command do to the T-point model?

Don’t you need to run Protrack in order for autoguider to work less? I thought T-Point is nothing but building sky model. I didn’t know that T-point also does tracking not only for RA but also for Declination.

I know nothing about TheSky, T-Point and Protrack but I am interested it.

Peter - I corrected my post, I said T-Point when I meant to say Protrack.
