I am using a Moonlite CHL focuser with a C11 Edge SCT and ASI1600 camera.
First time trying Auto Focus last night. I did read through the help file (understanding Auto Focus). Using the Frame and Focus I was able to get the HFR down to 3.75. It says that I need to multiply this 3.75 x 3.5, which would be about 13. Then go out of focus to this HFR of 13 and note the new position of the focuser.
Initially the position of the focuser was about 1100. I tried adjusting the focuser to over 2000 and the highest I got the HFR to was around 7. Am I doing something wrong? How can I figure out my step size?
