Hi,
I have discussed the main features of this problem on a separate thread:
RASA, EQMOD and centering - #9 by paulsartory - Sequence Generator - Main Sequence Software.
“Center Here” and “Slew Here” worked flawlessly with the my (refractor) guidescope images but does not with the “flipped images” from my Celestron RASA (on which the guidescope is mounted).
With the “flipped images” from my Celestron RASA the “Center Here” and “Slew Here” fuctions move the scope in the diametrically opposite direction to the selected new point on the image and, in the case of “Center Here” PlateSolve 2 will validate the centering as correct even though the image is not centered on the point selected.
The FITS header has the “FLIPPED” keyword as “F” for the (refractor) guidescope images “T” on the Celestron RASA images.
Regards
Paul
